I am a Business Information Technology graduate with a strong passion for innovation, digital transformation, and the role technology plays in solving real-world problems. My journey into the tech space has been shaped by curiosity, resilience, and a clear drive to create meaningful impact. Over time, I have developed a solid understanding of how systems, data, and people intersect to improve efficiency and enable smarter decision-making.

My academic background has equipped me with both technical and business-oriented skills, allowing me to approach challenges from a well-rounded perspective. I have experience working with programming languages such as Python, C#, and JavaScript, and I also specialize in building modern web applications using React. In addition, I have experience in application development, where I focus on creating functional, user-centered solutions. Alongside my formal training, I am a self-taught machine learning enthusiast, continuously exploring how data-driven models can be applied to solve complex problems.

Throughout my journey, I have actively pursued practical experience beyond formal education. Participating in hackathons and innovation challenges has allowed me to work in fast-paced, collaborative environments where creative problem-solving is essential. These experiences have strengthened my ability to think critically, communicate effectively, and contribute to solutions that address real-world challenges, including those focused on sustainability and efficiency.

I previously served as an ambassador at the University of Johannesburg Technopreneurship Centre, where I was exposed to an ecosystem that fostered innovation and entrepreneurship. This experience allowed me to engage with forward-thinking individuals, explore new ideas, and gain insight into how technology can be leveraged to create impactful ventures. It also played a key role in building my confidence and reinforcing my interest in the intersection of business and technology.

In addition, I served as an IBM Z Student Ambassador and am now part of the IBM Z Student Ambassador Alumni network. This role provided me with valuable exposure to enterprise computing and large-scale systems, deepening my understanding of the importance of security, scalability, and reliability in modern technology environments. It also strengthened my leadership, communication, and community engagement skills, as I worked to share knowledge and promote awareness of enterprise technologies among my peers.
