Mr Shaun Livhuwani Muobeleheni

Shaun Livhuwani, popularly known as Shaun of Thought is a researcher, Applied Linguistics PhD student, and the host of African Discoveries, a podcast proudly produced by the UJ Methods Lab. His work explores the intersections of language, technology, and society, with a deep interest in how African perspectives can reshape global understandings of knowledge, communication, and innovation. Through African Discoveries, Shaun engages leading thinkers, researchers, and cultural innovators in insightful conversations that uncover new ways of seeing Africa'beyond stereotypes and towards intellectual rediscovery. A committed scholar and communicator, Shaun has appeared on the Dean's List three times during his undergraduate studies and continues to pursue research that bridges academic theory and lived experience. His goal is to make research both accessible and transformative, connecting everyday conversations with the broader pursuit of knowledge and social progress.
